Word has reached us of the sad news that Michael ‘Fred’ Ford passed away on 13th May. He was aged 54. Our thoughts and best wishes go to his loved ones and those who knew him well.
Fred gave a great deal of his time and care to the role of Chair of The Wycliffian Society, between 2015 and 2018.

Passed away on 13th May 2026 aged 54.
Dad to Imogen and Georgia, stepdad to Hattie and Tom, brother to Paul and Louise, son of the late Paula and Albert, and friend to many. Proud Welshman and lover of his homeland, even when they weren’t top of the Six Nations.
A Service will take place at Randwick Church on Friday 19th June at 12:30pm. Dark colours or black dress code requested.
The Wake will be held at 1.30pm at the Old Fleece in Woodchester.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Marie Curie, sent c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Newmarket Road, Nailsworth, GL6 ODQ
