Liz Dancer Former Wycliffe College Staff Member (2000-2009)

We recently learned of the sudden death, on 16th December, of former Head of Psychology, Liz Dancer. She was 78. Liz passed away peacefully at home with husband, Keith (also, formerly of Wycliffe College as Head of Chemistry), and daughter Helen present.

At Wycliffe, Liz enthused everyone she taught in her class and attracted a large take-up of pupils at the Advanced Level, enabling many to go on and read the subject at University. OWs will have reason to be grateful for her valuable groundwork.

Her funeral will take place on 19th January 2026 at 11.15 am at Westerleigh Crematorium BS37 8RF. There will be a post-service reception on site.
